About CollectorOS
CollectorOS exists to give every collector a trustworthy record of what they own, what it is worth, and how to prove it.
Our mission
We built CollectorOS with the collector in mind. Your comics, cards, and other collectibles deserve the same care you put into finding them: clear records, honest prices, and documentation you can take with you and hand to an insurer without a second thought.
Who we are
CollectorOS was started by two collectors, Jon and Kyle. Jon has spent years buying and selling comics and Magic: The Gathering cards; Kyle came to Pokémon cards more recently and saw the hobby with fresh eyes. We kept running into the same problem: the tools out there were built to move inventory, not to look after a collection.
So we built our own. CollectorOS grew out of a comic price guide that had been used to track a personal collection, and we expanded and improved it as a web app anyone can use. It is the first product from Project Keystone, the company we founded to build tools that people can trust with the things they care about.
We are a small team, and we use CollectorOS ourselves every day. Every feature has to earn its place in our own collections first.

What sets us apart
Most collector apps are built around buying and selling. CollectorOS is built around owning.
Collector-first, not dealer clutter. You won’t wade through offer calculators, consignment screens, or seller dashboards to log a new book. The everyday collector gets a clean, focused app. More features are to come, but never as clutter for you to trip over.
Insurance-grade documentation. Your collection is an asset, and it should be documented like one. CollectorOS keeps photos, condition, grades, cost basis, acquisition dates, and where each item lives, then turns it into an insurance-ready PDF and CSV in one click. You see exactly what is included before you download, and your exact storage location never leaves the app.
Prices you can trust, with the evidence shown. A single number with no explanation isn’t a price, it’s a guess. We show market prices tied to the exact printing, recent sold comps as supporting evidence, the source and the date behind every figure, and a clear flag when something doesn’t line up, like a graded slab quoted at a raw price. When you save a value, it keeps that evidence attached, so it stands up on its own later. And because we record prices as they change, you can see how each item, and your whole collection, has moved over time.
Our promises to collectors
- Honesty over hype. If we can’t back up a price, we’ll tell you instead of guessing.
- Documentation, not appraisal. Our exports help you and your insurer, but they are records of what you own, not a certified appraisal.
